Friends of Treadwell park

The friends of Treadwell Park are a group of neighbors concerned with the well-being of our community’s largest Green Space. Weather-permitting, this group meets weekly on Wednesdays at 8:30am to pick up trash around the park. This group also periodically meets to discuss plans for the future of the park as well as brainstorm solutions to issues as they arise. COURTs under construction

In partnership with ESPN, Love.Futbol, and Play Where You Stay, we’re updating the basketball court and creating an outdoor futsal court. Construction began Monday, February 19th and is projected to be completed Saturday, April 6th. We’ll update this section with more information as the project progresses but please help our friends from Weigs World and Project Backboard while they work on the court by staying off of it! We’re planning a community service day the morning of Saturday, April 6th and an inaugural court opening for that afternoon. For more information, click the link below.
