Christina crutchfield - Community Coordinator

Christina is an urban planner with a background in community development and community relationship building. Christina fell in love with the Heights neighborhood after interning with the Heights CDC in 2016. She is looking forward to continuing her work work with neighbors and other community organizations. The Atlanta native is no stranger to work and life in Memphis. Christina has had the opportunity to work with several Memphis organizations including Service Over Self, Neighborhood Preservation Inc., and Center for Transforming Communities. She recently graduated from the University of Memphis with a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning. Ultimately, Christina is proud Heights resident excited to “serve and grow with the neighborhood.”

Jared Myers - Executive Director

Jared is a native Memphian who received his masters in Urban Studies from Eastern University in Philadelphia and his bachelors in Psychology from the University of Memphis. Jared co-led the Building Neighborhood Capacity Program grant as part of President Obama’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative from 2013-May 2015, which provided the Heights community of Memphis with a revitalization plan that is currently being implemented. Jared enjoys assisting neighborhood groups in developing strategies that focus on using public spaces as catalysts for community revitalization. Jared, his wife Erin, and daughter June, are proud Heights residents.

Dane Forlines - Special Projects Director

Dane Forlines has been involved in community development for nearly 20 years, both domestically and internationally as a consultant and in the non-profit sector. Dane has a degree in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master's degree in city and regional planning from the University of Memphis. He is currently an affiliate broker with Crye-Leike and is director of special projects for the Heights Community Development Corporation. He lives in the Highland Heights neighborhood with his wife, Michelle, and their 3 children.
